Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

By accessing or using SafeAdd — including the website at safeadd.io, the API at api.safeadd.io, or any related services — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. SafeAdd is an independent community tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation.

What SafeAdd is

SafeAdd is a community-driven platform where verified Roblox players can submit anonymous safety signals about their interactions with other accounts. Aggregated results are displayed publicly to help users make more informed decisions.

SafeAdd also provides a public API that allows developers to programmatically access aggregated profile data for use in their own tools and applications.

All signals represent personal community sentiment. They are not factual accusations, legal findings, or official reports. SafeAdd does not investigate or adjudicate individual claims.

Eligibility

You must be old enough to use Roblox in your jurisdiction to use SafeAdd. By verifying your Roblox account, you confirm that the account belongs to you. API access is available to anyone who registers, regardless of Roblox account verification status.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fabricated signals about any user.
  • Use SafeAdd to harass, target, or coordinate attacks against any individual.
  • Attempt to manipulate the scoring system through fake accounts or coordinated submissions.
  • Scrape or crawl the SafeAdd website without authorization. If you need programmatic access to data, use the API instead.
  • Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable laws.

API access

The SafeAdd API is provided to allow developers to build tools and applications that consume SafeAdd profile data. To use the API, you must register for an API key at api.safeadd.io.

API access is subject to rate limits, which are displayed in your dashboard. We reserve the right to adjust rate limits at any time. Exceeding your rate limit will result in temporary request blocking, and sustained abuse may result in key revocation.

The API is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime, response times, or the continued availability of specific endpoints. We may add, modify, or remove endpoints with reasonable notice where possible.

API acceptable use

If you use the SafeAdd API, you agree not to:

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute API access or responses as a standalone data product or competing service.
  • Use the API to build tools whose primary purpose is to harass, target, stalk, or monitor specific Roblox users.
  • Use the API to facilitate harassment, coordinated targeting, or unfair exclusion of individuals, including creating or distributing lists or systems intended to harm, shame, or unjustly penalize users based on SafeAdd data.
  • Publish, display, or distribute manipulated, altered, or misrepresented versions of SafeAdd data.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits through multiple keys, proxies, automated bots, or any other means intended to overload or flood the API.
  • Permanently store or accumulate large collections of API responses as a bulk dataset without prior written permission from SafeAdd.
  • Cache or store API responses in a way that misrepresents the data as more current than it is.
  • Use the API in ways that violate Roblox's Terms of Service or any other applicable platform rules.
  • Use the API to train machine learning models or build datasets for resale without prior written permission.

When displaying SafeAdd data in your application, you must make clear that the data originates from SafeAdd and represents community sentiment, not verified facts.

Automated decisions and profiling

Because SafeAdd data reflects unverified community sentiment, it must never be used as the sole or primary basis for automated decisions that could harm an individual. Specifically, you may not use the SafeAdd API to:

  • Automatically ban, suspend, penalize, or restrict users from a platform or community without human review of the underlying data.
  • Make or inform any consequential decision about a person — such as employment, access, or eligibility — based on their SafeAdd profile.
  • Build mass surveillance, tracking, or profiling systems that aggregate SafeAdd data about users over time.
  • Feed SafeAdd data into automated pipelines that produce outputs affecting individuals without a human in the loop.

SafeAdd data is a community tool intended to inform human judgment, not replace it.

Developer responsibility

You are solely responsible for how your application uses, displays, and stores data returned by the SafeAdd API. This includes compliance with all applicable privacy laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, such as GDPR, COPPA, or any equivalent local legislation.

SafeAdd is not responsible for how third-party applications use, misuse, or display data returned by the API. If your application collects or processes personal data in connection with SafeAdd data, you are responsible for ensuring that use is lawful and that affected individuals are appropriately informed.

API key security

Your API key is a credential. You are solely responsible for keeping it secure. Do not expose your key in client-side code, public repositories, or any other publicly accessible location.

Any requests made with your API key are your responsibility, regardless of whether you authorized them. If you believe your key has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@safeadd.io and we will revoke and reissue it.

Signal accuracy and liability

SafeAdd displays aggregated community signals, not verified facts. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information displayed on the platform or returned by the API.

SafeAdd is not liable for any decisions made based on the information displayed or returned. Always use your own judgment when interacting with people online.

Account and key termination

We reserve the right to suspend, remove, or restrict any account or revoke any API key at any time, for any reason, with or without prior notice. This includes but is not limited to accounts or keys we reasonably believe are submitting false signals, abusing the platform, violating these terms, or causing harm to any individual or the SafeAdd community.

Abuse of the system undermines the community and will not be tolerated. We are not obligated to provide an explanation for any termination decision.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of SafeAdd or the API after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
